Our New Team

Glex’s newly appointed chairman is Eduard (Eddie) Egloff. Mr Egloff brings with him 15 years of experience in the energy sector and 25 years of experience in non-ferrous metals trading and futures trading. He is a founding member of Marc Rich & Co AG, now Glencore International AG, an International Commodity Trading Company.
Jason Kwan, our new CEO, has more than twenty-five years of experience as a project developer for Unilever, building facilities for them all over the world. Mr. Kwan, who will operate out of new office premises to be in Central London, has many exciting new visions for our company.
Also new to our board is Warren Smulowitz, a banker with experience in investment in companies, projects, and real estate. Mr. Smulowitz is based in Toronto and will be responsible for Canadian mining and Vanadium operations as well as other projects throughout the Americas.
You can find information on the rest of our team.
We are excited about the possibilities provided by our new leadership, and we believe they have the experience and foresight to lead Glex into a stronger future.
The New Glex
Because of recent changes in Swiss law, Glex has restructured as Glex Holdings U.K. Limited. This change puts Glex in a stronger position by avoiding the pitfalls of over-regulation while also positioning ourselves well for an IPO on the London Stock Exchange/AIM.
In the coming months, we will be acquiring businesses and developing projects internationally that will continue to position Glex for a strong IPO. The recent changes we have made as a company have positioned us well as we prepare for our IPO exit strategy. By changing our company structure, bringing on new team members, and locating in a new country, we have protected our shareholders, created opportunities for new shareholders, and positioned ourselves well to be energy leaders.
A New Line of Communication
As we make strides to stay on the forefront of changes in the global energy business, we want to keep an open line of communication with all of you (and the public). To that end, we have implemented three new communication strategies: our Investor Corner, Newsroom, and Twitter.
Our Investor Corner is a password-protected section of our website for our investors where they can stay on top of important information regarding company changes, and we can communicate sensitive information to them securely.
